The nickel-cobalt oxide nanoparticles were successfully precipitated on activated carbon in one step process by liquid phase plasma process. The chemical active species generated by the liquid phase plasma reaction converted the metal ions in the aqueous solution into metal oxide nanoparticles. The chemical composition of metal nanoparticles was influenced by the ratio of the initial precursor concentration in aqueous solution. The binary metal oxide particles had the spherical shape with a size of approximately 120 nm and were existed in the form of NiCo2O4. The as-prepared composite with nickel-cobalt binary metal oxide nanoparticles showed the higher specific capacitance and cycle stability than others.
