The population of Korea had been dramatically increased due to rapid industrialization and urbanization in the 1970s to 1980s. The above reasons caused huge educational demands at the same time in the country. Currently, the deprived educational facilities that are more than 40-year consist of around 34.4 percent of the whole educational facilities in Korea. In the case of school facilities built at that time, the possibility of collapse and structural characteristics caused by structural weakness and aging have led to bottlenecks, and the risk of isolation exists through prior research. Therefore the purpose of study is to analyze the characteristics of the change in evacuation time by the collapse scenario of the old school facilities and the evacuation route. For this study, a collapse fragile point of a main evacuation route of an old school facilities is derived through structural analysis of a building using MIDAS. Then, we analyzed the change characteristics of evacuation time for each scenario at the major evacuation route collapse vulnerability points derived using Pathfinder. In case of evacuation time by collapse scenario, it was found that the physical impact of evacuation time was reduces by a maximum of 30s. However it was found that the physical impact of stairs was large, with a maximum of 210s from 75percent. Based on these results, the difference in the physical effects if each major evacuation route scenario was found. In the future, it is expected to be utilized for the aging and structural·architectural characteristics of old school facilities.
