The relationship between Japan and India was not stabilized in the early post-Cold War era, but as China emerged rapidly, it could be seen that since 2010, especially after the launch of the second Cabinet of Abe, the new era of Japan and India was reached. The vision of Japan and India, 2025, a milestone in this new era of bilateral relations, stipulates efforts to transform a special strategic global partnership into an action-oriented partnership. This close relationship between India and Japan has been gradually progressing from economic cooperation to security cooperation. If the threat from the complementary economic cooperation and China's aggressive foreign policy continues, the two countries will continue to develop closer economic and security cooperation in India and the Pacific. can see. But the bilateral cooperation between Japan and India is not a direct response to China, but rather a strategic hedging of China's offensive. The Indo-Pacific region is a growth-oriented region of the world economy with more than half of the world's population, and it is a dynamic strategic space where major powers compete for economic and security initiatives in the region. Therefore, India is seeking a leading role as a major actor in the Indo-Pacific era because it is located in the central region of the Indian Ocean. In terms of economic cooperation between Japan and India, Japan can be an attractive partner country with capital and technology for India. In fact, Modi aims to realize the "Make in India Policy," a policy to nurture his country's manufacturing sector, while linking the country's first-ever visit to South Asia since taking office with Japan and the Shindongbang policy with the international community economically. Thus, cooperation between India and India is difficult to think of when Japan and India both seem to be developing in a security-affiliated direction, but they do not affect India's national interests. Given the strategic autonomy of India, the focus will be on how to clearly establish and respond to joint interests or joint threats in the Indo-Pacific
