Japan’s Asian-Pacific War (1931-1945) brought about 40 million people in Asia and the Pacific to the war. Imperial Japan mobilized the manpower, materials and funds of these regions and left a big scar on the people. Along with this, many war ruins were left. Currently, there are hundreds of thousands of war remains in Asia-Pacific wars, including Japan and Asia, including the Pacific, and there are 8,428 Asian-Pacific war remains throughout the Korean peninsula. The Asia-Pacific war remains a heartbreaking historical site, but it is also another asset of Korean society in that it is the site of peace education and anti-war peace education. It is also a site that can not be neglected for the safety and the residential environment of the local people. In addition, utilization of the Asian Pacific War remains is a common task both for the two Koreas. Since the Asian and Pacific War ruins are scattered all over the Korean peninsula, the two Koreas can work together to investigate the conflicts and use them as materials for anti-war peace. This paper proposes the possibility of utilization of the ruins of Asia - Pacific war in Korea as a historical resource, and suggests ways to utilize it based on the current preservation status. Among the various utilization methods, we tried to increase the specificity by suggesting considerations for the construction method and content type based on cultural contents. There are two challenges ahead for Korea to take advantage of the Asia-Pacific war heritage. It is to sympathize with the necessity of Korean society to utilize the ruins of the Asia - Pacific war heritage, and Conduct a survey on the overall status of the government. Through this paper, I hope that the interest in the Asian-Pacific War ruins in Korean society will expand and I will deepen worries about the concrete application methods.
