The purpose of this study is to investigate how the selective decision-making factor for participation in sports club activities of youth students affects satisfaction with parents of students participating in youth sports club activities in Gyeonggi-do area. In order to achieve the purpose of t his study, 523 sports clubs in 10 sports clubs were selected using the wireless intensive sampling method for sports clubs located in the Gyeonggi area. For data processing, the following results were derived using frequency analysis, validity and reliability, factor analysis for verification correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis using the R.x64 4.0.5 program.
First, as a result of analyzing the effect of parents" motivation for choosing a basketball sports club on participation satisfaction, the correlation between the parent"s selection motivation factor and the participation satisfaction factor was all in relation to the other factors except the correlation between external motivation and facility/environment. There was a statistically significant correlation, and most of them showed moderate or higher correlation. Second, as a result of analyzing parents" selection motivation and participation satisfaction, it was found that the internal motivation and external motivation, which are the factors of the selection motivation, had a statistically significant effect among programs, leaders, facilities/environments, and cost factors, which are the factors of participation satisfaction. The conclusion of the above results showed that the satisfaction level of the parents" motivation for choosing a basketball sports club had a significant effect.
