In this study, titanium coating of aerospace AL7075-t7351 alloy using DC magnetron sputtering techniques was presented. The work press has been adjusted to improve surface modification to improve the hardness and adhesion strength of the aluminum thin film and titanium thin film. After titanium deposition, tests of friction coefficient, wear loss, hardness, and adhesion strength of the film were performed. As a result, the friction coefficient and abrasion loss adhesive strength characteristics were excellent under the deposition time of 90 minutes and 2Torr. Coating with titanium increased hardness compared to substrate materials and improved adhesion strength compared to base materials.
