The purpose of this study is to find a solution for problem of Korean agricultural wholesale market through comparative analysis on distribution system of agricultural products in Korea and major developed countries.
By the results of the analysis, there are many similar and difference points between Korea and the countries.
In case of similar points are as follow. The fairness and clarity insurance of business, the function of central price, the separation of collection and distribution, the confidence of liquidation of accounts, and etc.
In case of difference points are as follow. The existence of law and system on the agricultural wholesale market, the type of distribution structure and wholesaler, and etc.
The results suggest the direction of the rational change for Korean wholesale market as the case of major developed countries, especially the case of Japan.
