본 연구는 우리나라의 초등학생 4-6학년을 대상으로 학습흥미검사를 개발하여 표준화하는데 목적이 있다. 본 연구의 학습흥미 검사는 교과별 학습흥미 척도와 학습유형별 학습흥미 척도로 구성하였다. 이를 위하여 제7차 교육과정과 학습흥미, 학습유형, 직업흥미에 관한 이론과 검사도구들을 기초로 예비검사 문항을 제작하여 내용타당도 검증을 거쳤으며, 2차에 걸친 예비 연구를 통해 수정 보완한 후 최종적으로 초등학교 4-6학생 2,825명을 전국적으로 표집하여 표준화 작업을 하였다. 교과별 학습흥미 척도는 국어, 수학, 사회, 과학, 체육, 음악, 미술, 실과, 영어흥미의 9개요인 114문항으로 구성하였으며, 학습유형별 학습흥미 척도는 창의형, 사고형, 탐구형, 활동형 흥미의 4개요인 45문항으로 구성하였다. 구인타당도와 교차타당도, 공인타당도를 검증하였으며, 신뢰도 검증결과 양호한 것으로 나타났다.
The purpose of this study was to develop a reliable and valid Learning Interest Inventory for career counseling of the elementary school children. To achieve this goal, content validity was examined, and the test were modified and revised through twice preliminary researches. And finally the exploratory factor analyses and confirmatory factor analyses were executed. The subject of the final test were 2,825 elementary school children(4, 5, 6th grade). Three instruments were used in this study. They were 'Kolb Learning Inventory', 'The Vocational Interest Inventory', and 'The Learning Achievement'. The results were as follows; The Learning Interest Inventory developed consisted of two parts, i.e, subject interest inventory and learning style interest inventory. Subject interest inventory comprised 114 items with 9 factors-Korean language, mathematics, social studies, science, physical education, music, fine arts, practical arts interest-and learning style interest inventory comprised 45 items with 4 factors-original, thoughtful, investigative, dynamic interest. The Learning Interest Inventory was positively related with occupational interest, learning style and academic achievement. And Internal consistency reliability and spilt half reliability of this inventory were considered good. In conclusion, the Learning Interest Inventory developed in this study were a reliable and valid instrument of career education and counseling for the elementary school children.
