This study examined the composition of dehydrated sludge and primary and secondary sedimentation tanks in sewage treatment plant for the effective treatment, disposal, and reusage of sewage sludge. Their results are as follows, Carbon concentration in H sewage treatment plant and that in industrial complex, NS was higher to be 35.2%. In contrast, the carbon concentrations in the sludge of S and J sewage treatment plants that has a digester was 21% and that in H plant was 11.8%. The concentrations of Cd and Pb in the J plant were higher than that in the primary sedimentation tank to be 62.64 and 1621.8 mg/kg, respectively. The concentration of CN in the J plant was 3.442 mg/kg and As concentration in the NS plant was high to be 40.70 mg/kg. Hg concentration in the dehydrated sludge was 1.080 to 4.612 mg/kg and Cd concentration in the H plant were high to be 126.88 mg/kg. The concentrations of all heavy metals in the J plant were high, which was related to sewage from the industry complex of plating, dyeing, and leather processes. The concentrations of As and Hg were 240 and 180 times higher than the standard. Hence Current ocean dumping that is determined with the extraction test seems to contaminate the adjacent coastal region. Sludge in the H and NS plants satisfy the composting conditions which is organic content and C/N ratio, however, reusage as fetilizer seems to be difficult due to the excess of standard of heavy metal concentration in all plants as fertilizer standard. Hg and Pb concentrations in sludge of the N and S plants as an urban type were higher than the standard. Hence, reusage of sludge in soil is possible when the removal of heavy metals in the plants is possible in the digester.
