The purpose of this thesis is to consider a discourse function of ‘Geosigy’ to discourse mark in Korean language. The discourse mark is an unnecessary factor in meaning, but is needed in the interaction between a speaker and a listener. ‘Geosigy’ in the conversation is a language form to communicate speaker’s intention and mental state to a listener in effect. Also ‘Geosigy’ perform various discourse function as ‘a taking attention, indirect expression, delay action, hesitating speak’ on in the conversation.
