The purpose of this study was to examine the relationships between perception of crowding and sport participations. The subjects of this study were selected by stratified cluster sampling method in order to proportionate the sample size.The characteristics of the sports center included public sport centers, private sport centers. They all located in seoul metropolitan area and the number of subjects were 414 sport participants.The instrument used for this study was administered of two components of crowding, leisure constraints scale as Crawford &, Godbey(1987) developed with some background questionnaires.The statistical method used for the analysis of this study t-test, one-way ANOVA with SPSS/PC+ 10.0 Version for Windows.The results of this study are as follows:1. The sex was not significantly difference on perception of crowding of crowding perception of crowding sport participation constraints.2. The participations occupation variable was a significant indicator on the significant difference on sport participation constraints and was not significantly different on perception of crowdy.3. The income was significantly different on perception of crowding and sport participation constraints.4. The educational level were not is significantly different on perception of crowding and sport participation constraints.5. The sport center type was significantly different on perception of crowding and sport participation constraints.
