The purpose of this study is to analyze demographic differences in the four factors of sports ethics in basketball and volleyball (indoor) among professional sports clubs, and to use them as basic data for educational design and follow-up studies tailored to suit the characteristics of basketball and volleyball. The subjects of this study were indoor sports such as professional basketball and volleyball players and leaders in 2019, and a total of 470 copies were distributed and used for the final analysis with the goal of a full survey of 299 professional basketball players and 261 professional volleyball players as of 2019.
As a result of this study, first, in terms of sports ethics according to gender, men showed higher sensitivity to sports ethics than women, and women showed higher judgment on sports ethics than men. Second, sports ethics according to sports showed that volleyball events have higher sports ethics judgment than basketball events. Third, it was found that athletes have higher sensitivity and judgment in sports ethics than leaders in terms of sports ethics according to the target. On the other hand, the leader showed higher motivation for sports ethics than the players. Fourth, sports ethics according to the presence or absence of ethical education experience was found to have higher sports ethics synchronization than the group without experience. Fifth, sports ethics according to age showed that those in their 20s had higher sports ethics judgment than those in their 30s. There was no statistically significant difference, but it was found that those in their 40s had high sports ethics sensitivity, synchronization, and characterization.
