Recently, many studies have been conducted to mimic the unique functional surface existing in the nature and to realize its optical/mechanical performance. Among natural functional surfaces, the moth’s eye is one of the most well-known biomimetic surfaces and this surface has an anti-reflective property against visible light. Moth’s eye surfaces have hierarchical nano protrusions on its hexagonal micro-convex structure. Researchers have tried to fabricate the hierarchical structure because this structure has a lower reflectivity than non-hierarchical nanostructures.
