The video retrieval is one of the most important tasks in the computer vision research, which can be utilized for the video search, action recognition, and video recommendation. To analyze the effectiveness of the multi-modal information including the sound of the video, we propose a audio-video switching network to selectively utilize the visual and auditory features. Based on audio-video switching network, we employ the audio representation when the coarse-grained and fine-grained visual representation is insufficient to represent the video. We perform the experiments to validate the proposed algorithm using the benchmark datasets.
