The purpose of this study is to identify migration characteristics and migration factors by age by region through changes in population migration betwen 2010 to 2020. ㅍThe characteristics of household movement over the past 10 years were identified using household data (6.27 million households in 2010 and 6.52 million households in 2020) among domestic movement statistics from 2010 to 2020. For data analysis, the SPSS statistical program was used, and statistical data were linked to the GIS program to visually analyze the distribution of transfers and transfers by administrative district. The analysis contents are summarized as follows. First, housing, family, and occupation were identified in order as factors of population migration. Compared to the past 10 years, the rate of moving in search of high-quality residential environments and jobs tends to increase. Second, in the case of administrative districts, the rate of population migration in the metropolitan area is quite high. In particular, the rate of population migration within the same administrative district is high. The reason for this is migration due to housing, residential environment, and occupation, but it is judged that migration is more important to short-distance areas with accessibility and familiarity than other areas of long-distance.
