Salone del Mobile is the largest annual furniture fair located in Milan that specializes in trades, sales, and exhibition of upcoming trends. This exhibition presents the globally developed furniture and design trends. Salone del Mobile 2022 is held under the theme of ‘Design with nature’ based on sustainability. This paper will analyze in terms of eco-friendliness, materiality, and functionality based on sustainability. Recent studies show that due to COVID-19 people had a newfound interest in nature causing them to want to strike a balance between spending time outside and inside. Thus, they focused their attention on developing their gardens, balconies, and rooftops. Additionally, international companies have been keen on developing sustainable products. Therefore, in order to keep up, domestic furniture companies should conduct precedent research to maximize their ESG strategy.
