1. Background
□ Until the master plan for consumer policy reached the 5th round, the procedure and method of establishment for master plan continued to be advanced, while the discussion on evaluation and feedback on the master plan was relatively insufficient.
□ Preparing an evaluation and feedback system is judged to be a very important task for master plan for consumer policy, which has entered the 13th year of implementation since the first plan in 2009, to improve the overall quality of the consumer policy by appraising implementation results and reflecting it to the next master plan .
□ For this reason, to find a way to activate evaluation and feedback function of master plan for consumer policy, we analyze i) the operation status of the master plan of consumer policy, ii) utilization method of related systems for consumer policy evaluation and consumer policy indicators produced by Korea Consumer Agency, and iii) the cases of evaluation and feedback system for master plans in other Korea government ministries.
2. Results
□ As a result, we proposed three tasks and action plans for activating evaluation and feedback of master plan for consumer policy as shown in〈Figure 1〉 : i) comprehensive implementation plan, ii) policy performance evaluation system, iii) foundation of institutional promotion.
