    Wearable robots that assist the lower limb movements such as walking, running, and stair climbing must be designed based on the human motion characteristics to operate with the best efficiency. However, most of wearable robots generate forces to assist the motion using the actuator without concerning the characteristics of movement. The lower limb movement requires explosive power temporarily and weak power for most of the time. In order to output the explosive power, the system with the actuator becomes heavy and bulky. Eventually, the robot with the actuator is too restrictive and inefficient to provide comfortable wearability and proper-assisting power to human.
