The purpose of this study is to verify whether there is a difference in virtual advertisement avoidance in the type of virtual advertisement and the type of broadcasting program according to the adjustment of the degree of flow in broadcasting programs. For this study, a virtual advertisement experimental study was conducted on male and female college students. The types of virtual advertisement were classified into video type and image type. Broadcasting programs are dramas and entertainment that allow exposure of virtual advertisements. The adjustment variables were classified as high and low in the degree of flow in broadcasting programs. Virtual advertisement avoidance was identified as cognitive avoidance, physical avoidance, and mechanical avoidance. The analysis results are as follows. First, it was confirmed that there is a difference in the cognitive avoidance of virtual advertisements according to the type of virtual advertisement and the adjustment of program flow. Second, it was confirmed that there are cognitive avoidance and physical avoidance of virtual advertisements according to the type of broadcasting program and control of program flow. Third, there was no mechanical avoidance according to virtual advertisement type and program flow control, broadcasting program type and program flow control. The above research results are expected to be useful data for advertising strategies to reduce the phenomenon of virtual advertising avoidance caused by broadcasting programs.
