역행성 요측 전완부 피판술은 손배부 결손 재건술에 흔히 이용되고 있다. 그러나 정맥 울혈은 피판 괴사 또는 실패로 이어질 수 있다. 수배부 재건의 결과를 개선시키기 위해 충분한 정맥 흐름은 매우 중요하다. 본 증례 보고에서 저자들은 우측 수배부의 심한 탈장갑 손상을 입은 66세 남자 환자에 관해 보고하고자 한다. 역행성 요측 전완부 피판술 후 요측피정맥과 손등 표재정맥을 예방적으로 문합하였으며, 환자는 울혈이나 다른 합병증 없이 회복하였다. 저자들은 비교적 쉽고 간단한 술기인 과급정맥문합을 통해 정맥 울혈을 예방할 수 있었다. 이는 정맥울혈의 예방에 과급정맥문합이 도움을 줄 수 있음을 보여주고 있다.
