This study begins from the fact that Japanese history education had the purpose of assimilating the Korean into Japanese, educating the Korean with a favorable history for Japanese, and distorting history ever since the beginning of the Residency-General long way before the compilation of the Japanese history textbook. Therefore, to find out how Japan educated history for Chosun children in the primary school, this study examined the content of the textbook compiled by the Japanese Government-General of Korea from the period of the Residency-General to that of <1Cha the Chosun Education Law>. Japan had deliberately taught Chosun children Japanese history via 『Susinseo』, 『Korean reader(Korean Language)』, 『Japanese reader』 from the period of the Residency-General. I also assured that Korean history was timidly described in a non-independent manner. Even though Geography textbook and History textbook were excluded from the curriculum after the Japanese occupation, other subjects were focused on a negative view of Chosun in reality as expressing the justification of that Korea must be colonized by Japan. Consequently, it is concluded that Japan intentionally educated Chosun Children with distorted history for the purpose of assimilation of Chosun children via various textbooks for primary schools compiled by the Japanese Government-General of Korea from the beginning of Japanese occupation.
