This study is for comparing perception levels on 400 of customers from Korea, Japan and America who had experienced Semipermanent makeup. In addition, with this analysis, the purpose of this study is to suggest future development direction of Semipermanent makeup and predict the factors that can get satisfaction and preference of Semi-permanent makeup. The results are as follows. First of all, this survey shows preference of the customers from three countries. Korea and America prefer to use Feathering techniques and Japan prefers to use Gradation techniques. America has the highest awareness on Semi-permanent makeup and Japan is the lowest. The reasons of undergoing treatment are different in three countries; Korean people feel bothersome to do makeup, Japanese and American people are for being beautiful. For the most wanted part of getting treatment, Eyebrow was the highest answer in Korea and America and Japan answered Lip line. Next, in the section of satisfaction of after getting Semi-permanent makeup, America took first place and in order of Korea and Japan in overall satisfaction. This result explains that America looks Semi-permanent makeup as aspect of beauty because it’s legitimately institutionalized in America. Through customer survey from three countries, it suggested the necessity of system improvement in Korea. If such study can be applied to customers by systematically correcting, people’s healthy and beautiful life and related business could bring some favorable influence on having national competitiveness.
