This article explores the French learning strategies models of students who take an introductory course in French. To understand much better the their characteristics, we use Enneagram personality types and compare two models : collective learning model conducted in the first semester of 2013 and individual learning model in the second. We find that it’s possible to constitute an ideal group with two enneatypes 2 and 7 who are learning French through the groups activities. The group composed exclusively of enneatypes 4, 5 and 9, their activity showed significantly a depressing state. On the other hand, in the individual learning model, it was effective for enneatypes 4 and 5 in particular: they did a positive interplay with their teacher and accomplished excellent achievements, while not representing the prominence in collective learning model. When viewed, through these learning strategies models appropriate to the Enneagrampersonality types, we can clearly see that it exists.
