Education is a powerful tool of socialization process to perpetuate the values of an individual or a society. An ideology to maintain the social structure with gender inequality is established as social convention by formal and informal educational activities. Today, Korean church should reform herself to realize gender equality, which is the important move not only for her renewal and revival but also the enhancement of the value of gender equality in Korean society. To make it come true, educational practice for the seminary students is essential which encourage them to recognize the value of gender equality. The purpose of this study is to present a practical teaching method to the seminary curriculum for the establishment of the value of gender equality of the seminary students. In a concrete way, this study illustrates a lesson plan model to have practical use in a teaching-learning process with the purpose of gender equality education through the application of the teaching method of Thomas H. Groome’s shared Christian praxis. There is an expectation that this study will be utilized as a practical educational method for the paradigm shift of the value of gender equality and contribute to the renewal of Korean church as well as the development of gender equality recognition in Korean society.
