    When a drop impinges on a liquid pool it forms a vortex ring on the pool surface. It may detach and move inside the pool during complete coalescence of the drop inside pool [1]. Sometimes this vortex ring can give rise to roll jet formation around the crater side. The vortex ring curls-up the pool liquid near the surface and resurfaces it to form the roll jet. The roll jet then curves toward the center of the crater in the form of a liquid tongue. This roll jet meets at the centre of the crater and entraps a large bubble [2]. In Fig.1 the drop impact and subsequent bubble entrapment is shown. Interestingly in our experiments we also observe the formation of large bubble even in the absence of the roll jet.
