This study was analyzed to propose a direction to efficiently support step-by-step tasks of the design process by exploring the availability of AI tools at each stage of architectural design using modern AI tools and the role of each design process scope. This study proposes the direction of design support for AI tools that can more efficiently assist design work by reflecting the requirements of design support tools required by designers as follows. First, there is a need for an AI design support tool that can collect and analyze data suitable for the purpose of the project to assist planning work and provide objective judgment data necessary for decision-making. Second, there is a need for AI design support tools that can help ideas and convergence by reflecting design project goals well. Third, AI tools that can manage design tasks in an integrated and organic manner are needed to maintain the purpose of the project well during the design process.
