    In this study, a study was conducted on the initial response to a car fire. Currently, there are low-priced glass fibers and expensive silica fibers in Korea, but in the case of electric vehicle fires, they showed performance equivalent to or better than next-generation fire blanket in developed countries. After the heat resistance test, the fabric of glass fiber and silica fiber on fire blanket showed more shrinkage than carbon fiber in terms of dimensional change. The tensile strength of carbon fiber was about 5 times higher than that of glass fiber and silica fiber. Flame resistant showed 0s afterflame and 0 cm char length in all samples. After heat resistance test, glass fibers and silica fibers were solidified and the cracks occurred when pressed by hand, whereas carbon fibers sustained flexibility. As a result of the dynamic flame test, the carbon fabric and silica fabric were maintained their shape but the natural fabric was break down after exposure to flame.
