The purpose of this study was to verify a relationship between professor-student interaction and career exploration behavior of dance major student in China. To achieve the purpose of the study, samples were collected from dance major students from Universities in Sichuan and Shandong province with convenience sampling method. Collected data were using SPSS 24.0 statistical program with frequency analysis, correlation analysis, and multiple linear regression analysis. As a result of investigating the impact of dance major college students on faculty-student interaction and career exploration behavior, first, it was confirmed that it had a significant effect on self-exploration behavior among all sub-factors of dance major college students’ professor-student interaction and career exploration behavior. It is necessary to improve the trust of instructors and knowledge related to their majors through continuous efforts. Second, as a result of the analysis of professor-student interaction and job search behavior, academic interaction and trust interaction affect job search behavior, so school-level regulations are needed to improve professors’ abilities and maintain trust with students. Third, as a result of the analysis of professor-student interactions and career opportunity exploration behavior, all sub-factors, academic, living, and trust interactions, affect career opportunity exploration behavior.
