As technological advances and the COVID-19 pandemic influence shopping habits, mobile cosmetics apps have risen in prominence. Particularly, Beauty Kurly, with its unique early morning delivery, has captured substantial consumer attention. This study, utilizing blog data, examines consumer perceptions of these apps, especially before and after Beauty Kurly’s debut. Through BERTopic and dynamic topic modeling, we observed a shift from product-centric discussions to delivery-focused conversations post-Beauty Kurly. Additionally, while Hwahae has diversified its strategies to include discounts, Glowpick continues to emphasize detailed product reviews, highlighting the varying adaptations within the mobile cosmetics app market. From our analysis, we have identified customer perceptions of mobile cosmetics apps, providing valuable insights for future research and marketing strategies within this sector.
