Purpose: This study examines the operational aspects of ‘365+Physical Education On Activities’ at ‘Blue’ high School and conducts an in-depth analysis of its value system through the lens of Parsons’ AGIL model.
Method: We employed nonrandom sampling to select 20 participants, inlcuding 15 students who had a basic need for physical activity but couldn’t participate in traditional sports activities due to their perceived lack of athleticism.
Results: The study reveals the following outcomes. Firstly, adaptation entails aligning the educational environment with situational demands. Through ‘365+ Physical Education On Activities’, students voluntarily enhance their lifestyles by engaging in physical activities duirng various school intervals (morning, lunch, and break times). Secondly, goal achievement enhances satisfaction and confidence through the attainment of set objectives. Students strive to reach their personal goals, leading to improved satisfaction and academic performance. Their concentration and positive attitude towards classes also contribute to enhanced learning effects. Thirdly, integration involves the formation of close relationships among participants. ‘365+Physical Education On Activities’ fosters unity and a sense of stability, promoting harmonious coexistence and a smoother school life. Lastly, latent pattern maintenance involves the internalization of reasonable behavioral norms and values to ensure the survival of social relationships. Program participants fulfill their commitments through communication and assume social responsibility. Furthermore, they naturally learn and adopt reasonable behavioral norms, including fair play and sportsmanship, laying the foundation for community order.
Conclusion: From the perspective of Parsons’ AGIL model, ‘365+Physical Eudcation On Activities’ demonstrates practical value in terms of Adaptation, Goal achievement, Integration, and Latent pattern maintenance.
