Employees of leading hotel companies in the service industry play a crucial role because they must ensure customer satisfaction through seamless interactions with customers when they purchase services. The role of employees is important because they interact directly with customers, and the management of emotional expression by these service providers, who are employees, is highly significant for both customer evaluations of the company and the company"s profitability. This study examined the influence of emotional labor of hotel employees on job stress and job burnout, and analyzed the impact of job stress on job burnout and turnover intention. A survey was conducted targeting hotel employees working in Busan and Jeju regions. The survey period was from April to June 2023, with a total of 233 responses analyzed. Data collected for this study were statistically processed using SPSS 24.0 and AMOS 23.0 software after undergoing a data coding process. The key findings are as follows: First, among the emotional labor of hotel employees, "surface acting" significantly influences both job stress and job burnout. Second, job stress has a significant impact on job burnout and turnover intention. Third, job burnout meaningfully affects turnover intention. Future research should expand the scope to include employees from other regions and various professions, and delve deeper into the results of this study by incorporating additional variables.
