The breakthrough development and widespread application of AI technology are driving transformative changes in education, capturing significant interest among researchers. Therefore, this study aims to utilize the TAM model to comprehend the acceptance levels of AI tools among users in the field of animation education and the underlying factors influencing their intention to use. This study found through a literature survey and user interviews that previous experience may be an important factor influencing the adoption of AI tools by animation students. By extending the TAM model with external variables, the key factors affecting the acceptance of AI tools were empirically analyzed and tested. The research findings indicate that, for students in the field of animation, perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use significantly and directly predict their willingness to use AI tools. At the same time, previous experience has a significant impact on the willingness to use AI tools. These research insights contribute to guiding educational users in making informed usage decisions and offer guidance for the design and development of AI tools.
