This study investigates the residential mobility patterns of single women aged 20-39 in Seoul, considering factors influencing their intra-city migration. Understanding these patterns becomes crucial amid South Korea"s demographic challenges, including population decline and aging. This study analyzes migration patterns in the cities of 2016 and 2019, focusing on changes from exceeded outflows to the decline of intra-city migration. The paper explores 426 administrative districts to pinpoint specific locations experiencing shifts despite an overall population decrease. The study used multiple regression analysis to identify socio-economic factors affecting the migration of single women. The findings provide insights for addressing regional extinction concerns in Seoul and neighboring areas.
