The purpose of the study is to examine the impact of the response(as the independent variable) of athlete activism on the reaction(as the dependent variable) of athlete activism in case of violence and to identify the relationships between two factors. It leads to derive implications for revitalizing athlete activism and keeping human rights in sports. As a research method, the impact of the response on the reaction was analyzed through multiple regression analysis. The results are as follows. First, the informed response to athlete violence was found to have the greatest impact on the reaction of activism. This means that for activating athlete activism to prevent violations of athlete human rights measures to make it easy to take informed responses must be actively sought. Second, the relationship between informed response and reaction of using of organization had the most impact on the reaction in the response of athlete activism against violence. In order to revitalize athlete activism, it means the importance of the acceptance attitude of sports-related organizations such as athlete associations. Third, the dependent variable has the highest explanatory power for the independent variable of organization-using reaction. It means the role of sports-related organizations such as the players" association, sports association is important in athlete activism to resolve the fundamental human rights problems in sports. These findings enrich the understanding of athlete activism and, furthermore, contribute to promoting it.
