The purpose of this study was to suggest the policy direction for the revitalization of school physical education on educational aspect functions as follows. First, healthy life can be realized by it. Second, it can integrate visions of physical education; psychomotor domain,cognitive domain, and affective domain) Third, it can provide the base of lifelong physical education. And we should put the following physical education policies into action to revitalize physical education. First, physical education should be substantial: improving the quality of physical education curriculum, improvement of the evaluation method, secure of the subject professionalism, and the support of the sports instructors in the elementary school. Second, the physical strength of students should be promoted and prep physical education activity should be activated. For it, we can make efforts such as operation of the sports club in the school, expansion of the physical activity promotion system, practice of the physical activity guide line, setting the scene for sports-friendly school, etc. Third, we should try to bring up the school athletic clubs and provide the educational supervision. Most of all,defining of the working students'' image under the guarantee of basic human rights such as the guarantee of the students athlete''s right to pursue their learning and happiness and rearing of the competitive talented person in physical education are needed. Fourth, we should improve laws and systems on school physical education promotion and make efforts such as school physical education promotion committee expansion operation and a safety check on the school physical education facilities.
