The purpose of this study is to provide basic data to provide major im- mersion of majors, present necessary leadership to instructors, and im- provement measures to drop out of dance activities by investigating the relationship between leadership trust and dance commitment of con- temporary dance majors and the mediating effect of servant leadership. Data was collected for four weeks from August 25 to September 22, 2023 for 120 contemporary dance majors enrolled in the department of dance at universities nationwide. Multiple regression analysis and mediated re- gression analysis were performed on the collected data using the SPSS 18.0 statistical program. As a result, it was found that the trust of the leader had a positive effect on dance commitment, and servant leadership had a partial mediating effect. First, it was found that the trust of the leader had a positive effect on dance commitment. Second, it was found that servant leadership had a positive effect on dance commitment. It was found that servant leadership had a positive effect on dance commitment. It presents the formation of a trust relationship between in- structors and learners, the creation of an optimal educational environ- ment, and the exercise of servant leadership by leaders as implications.
