While the current development of AI remains a subject of great intrigue for many, its trajectory promises to dive deep into uncharted philosophical and theological waters. Therefore, this article examines the questions that the development of AI will pose to theology and explores how AI and theology can coexist harmoniously. Moving beyond reinterpreting existing theological areas such as creationism, anthropology, hamartiology, soteriology, and eschatology, it seeks to explore the possibilities of “AI theology” from a missiological perspective. Recalling that the 2,000-year history of Christian missions has been a sincere response to the theological questions of each era, we must persist in contemplating contemporary theological questions from a missionary perspective.
