The purpose of this study is to understand which factors are attractive to people who want to use Jeonju’s ‘Hakindang’ Hanok as accommodation facilities, and whether the factors are related to tradition, favorability toward Hanok, and the intention of accommodation of users. Therefore, in terms of accommodation marketing in the future, we intend to identify exterior that can contribute to the activation of Hanok. Data of empirical studies were collected through eye tracking experiments and survey methods for 31 undergraduate students at J University. As a result of eye tracking analysis, the subjects paid attention to the outer wall, windows, roof, signboards, and natural scenery elements in the center of Hakindang. Most of these clues with high environmental interest were found to be statistically not related to subjective interest, including the intention to stay. Rather, it was found that the interest in the elements of the stylobate and yard was related to the subjective interest or the intention to stay in terms of marketing. In addition, it was possible to determine the intention of visual interest by grasping the cozyness of the Hanok layout structure and the reluctance to Hanok, which are the reasons for interest.
