This paper introduced previous studies on Verb-copying Construction and 把-Constructi on that form Compatible relationships. and based on this, the Characteristics of their Semantic Function and the Correspondence with Korean were examined. The results are as follows.
First, the Compatibility of the two Sentence types was first raised in the early 20th century when the theory of the Complementary distribution of xie miaoling(1991) was first raised, but it was difficult to find clear research results other than the Meaning Orientation and thinking Meaning of the Sentence type, and in particular, few studies related to the Korea-China contrast were conducted.
Second, VP1 of the Verb-Copying Construction was close to the Binding Structure, but the subsequent VP2 was less close to the Binding Structure. However, it was confirmed that the 把-Construction has a Positional limitation in the Presence of Modification Components because the Combination Structure of the Verb and the Complement led by the Preposition is relatively close.
Third, the difference between the Verb-Copying Construction and the 把-Construction confirmed that the Motion behavior was related to a temporal relationship. In other words, the 把-Construction represents the Completion State, and has an internal Structure consisting of the Starting Point, the Process of the Action, and the End Point. However, the Verb-Copying Construction consists of a dichotomous space of Old Information VP1 and New Information VP2. and it was confirmed that the two Event Structures were connected to each other.
Fourth, the Korean Correspondence between the Verb-Copying Construction and the 把-Construction was analyzed. In the case of the Verb-Copying Construction indicating the Meaning of the Sentence [-Complete type], the Second Verb corresponds to the Senten ce-closing ending of the Korean Language, and in the case of the 把-Construction, it was confirmed that the Chinese Predicate Corresponds to the Predicate accompanied by the Past final ending of the Korean language.
