초록·키워드
This study analyzed winter heating energy usage among 25 households in an apartment complex, all with the same family composition. By collecting energy consumption data and surveying residents’ heating behaviors, energy-saving intentions, and habits, it aimed to analyze how behavioral characteristics and cognitive factors influence differences in household energy consumption. The findings revealed that residents’ heating behaviors, energy-saving intentions, and habits significantly influenced their heating energy consumption. Households that actively controlled heating, had strong energy-saving intentions, and well-established saving habits tended to consume less heating energy. These results emphasize the importance of behavioral changes to enhance energy efficiency in the residential sector, highlighting the need for strategies to help residents consistently practice energy-saving behaviors. The study also emphasizes the importance of education and behavioral inducement policies in fostering positive intentions and habits crucial to reducing energy consumption. However, the study’s limitation to a period from November 2019 to February 2021 and the small sample size may restrict the generalizability of its findings to current or future conditions. Thus, future research should extend the period and include a larger number of households to increase the representativeness and reliability of the data.
