『Sikuquanshuzongmu(四庫全書總目)』is a good way to quickly grasp the literary view of each period and see the vast amount of accident books at a glance. Most of them have been translated in Korea because of the advantage of being able to recognize accident books right away. However, due to reviewing the translation in the DB site, it was found that there were insufficient annotations and difficulties in accurate understanding of the original text. The main text could be classified into four cases; the differences in interpretation appeared during the translation process after examining the translations of Lipanlong’s『Gujinshishan(古今詩刪)』and Huangzongxi’s『Mingwenhai(明文海)』. The reasons for choosing the two works earlier are as follows: Lipanlong’s 『Gujinshisan(古今詩刪)』 is classified by period and contains poems before the Ming Dynasty, excluding the Song Dynasty and the Yuan Dynasty. Huangzongxi’s『Mingwenhai(明文海)』』is classified by style and contains sentences from the Ming Dynasty. We can see the intention of his compilation through the works contained in Ivanryong’s『Gujinshishan(古今詩刪)』that the qianhouqizi(前後七子)of the mid-Ming Dynasty insisted not to read post-Tang poetry. In addition, it can be seen that the purpose of Hwang Jong xi’s compilation of『Mingwenhai(明文海)』was to eliminate the evil practice of imitation and to promote authenticity and creation. In this way, the two works were selected because it was judged to be helpful to scholars who wanted to study “The Poems of the Post-Twilight Zone” and "The Works of Writers of the Ming Dynasty. The text was reinterpreted based on the existing translations of “『Gujinshishan(古今詩刪)』” and “『Mingwenhai(明文海)』”. The parts that were judged to be somewhat insufficient in translation for the existing translated texts were divided into four categories and revised with an emphasis on re-translation. First, the part where the Chinese characters appear to have been translated incorrectly was corrected. Second, even though the letters were omitted and translated, the part that did not appear to have the meaning properly was corrected. Third, all the original texts were translated, but the meaning was somewhat unclear, so the section that was difficult to understand was corrected. Fourth, the part where translation errors appeared in the grammar was corrected. The text was intended to improve the accuracy of translation by modifying the above parts, and to add annotations and reverse independence to help readers interested in “『gujinshishan(古今詩刪)』” and “『Mingwenhai(明文海)』” in the『Sikuquanshuzongmu (四庫全書總目)』 So some of errors were corrected to increase the accuracy of the translation. In addition, the contents and rituals of these two collections were examined during this process.
