This study aims to compare and analyze school libraries in Busan that have undergone spatial restructuring through remodeling. The analysis focuses on the interior design elements of these libraries, examining the shape, color, materials, and decorative features. The study also explores the relationship between these design elements and the preferred image of each type of school elementary, middle, and high school. The findings highlight the differences in indoor space characteristics between elementary and middle school libraries, revealing variations in design elements such as shape, color, materials, and decorative details. The following conclusions can be drawn by grasping the current status, spatial analysis, and elemental analysis of the characteristics of the indoor space of the school library. First, in terms of understanding the current situation, there are no studies on libraries in schools related to spatial restructuring in previous studies, and this study is differentiated. Second, in relation to spatial analysis, analysis items were derived from decorative elements and other elements that support architectural elements such as ceiling, wall, floor, and architectural elements, and presented to be applicable for indoor space analysis. Finally, by analyzing singularities or commonalities, morphological elements were compared and derived by analyzing floors, walls, ceilings, colors, materials, decorative elements, and other factors.
