The number of missing children is increasing every year, and this is emerging as a social issue. For this, a number of schemes have been proposed to prevent the occurrence of missing children. Most schemes focus on recognizing a certain distance between the guide and the child and detecting devia- tions from this distance. Some studies use GPS-based location information to determine the location of missing children. However, it is also difficult to accurately find the location of a missing child since the GPS signal information does not work properly indoors, or outdoors where there are many obstacles. Meanwhile, the missing child prevention system using artificial intelligence technology is far from prevention as it is a method of finding missing children based on facial recognition of missing children. Therefore, this paper proposes an intelligent missing children prevention system based on high-accuracy location detection using deep neural networks and BLE technology. In order to evaluate the performance of this system, a prototype for proof of concept is developed and experiments are con- ducted by a field test. The experimental results show the proposed scheme has excellent performance and is feasible.
