The gas turbine control system was replaced with that of another manufacturer in the target power plant due to long-term use of control system. A process model was developed to verify the integrity of gas turbine control algorithm before actual start-up. After that, a gas turbine control verification device capable of transmitting and receiving signals at the same level as the actual control system was made by installing a process model on the hardware. A verification device is a device capable of performing a simulation test. In other words, it replaces the role of a transmitter that detects changes in physical properties during actual gas turbine operation. That is, the process model installed in the verification device performs internal calculations by receiving the change in position of fuel control valve and inlet guide vane. And then it calculates the gas turbine rotation speed, compressor discharge pressure, combustion gas temperature, generator output etc. Finally, the same electrical signal as the actual operation condition is produced and sent to the control system. Therefore, it is possible to verify the integrity of the control algorithm by performing a gas turbine simulation test in the same way as the normal operation procedure. In this paper, we introduce the gas turbine process model, integrity verification procedure of control algorithm and result.
