The purpose of this study is to understand what factors are attractive to people who use Han-Ok, Jeonju ‘Hakindang’, as accommodation facilities and whether the factors are related to traditionality and good feeling toward Han-Ok, and also to the user’s intention to stay. So, we will try to grasp the spatial contents of indoor and outdoor that can contribute to revitalizing Han-Ok in terms of marketing of accommodation facilities in the future. Empirical research data were collected from 31 undergraduate students at J University through an eye tracking experimental method and a questionnaire survey method. The subjective interest of Han-ok was highly evaluated as traditionality with a tiled roof and the surrounding yard in an external space. Interest and intention to stay were higher in outdoor spaces compared to indoors. To revitalize Han-Ok as attractive accommodation facilities, the study suggests integrating modern amenities, convenience, warmness, crime prevention, quiet) into indoor spaces while preserving the traditional charm of outdoor areas.
