Purpose This study aims to enable the transportation of more cargo on a single run by applying box-type ready-mixed concrete trucks and a roller method capable of shipping in installments and devises a plan to ship products other than ready-mixed concrete while making rounds to the ready-mixed concrete manufacturing firm as a turning point, thus reinforcing the competitive edge of ready-mixed concrete logistics. Methods The study developed a model that was restricted to the cost of material transportation from a ready-mixed concrete supplier to a ready-mixed concrete manufacturing firm, the cost of ready-mixed concrete transportation from a ready-mixed concrete manufacturing firm to a ready-mixed concrete user, and the cost of turning to a ready-mixed concrete manufacturing firm after supplying ready-mixed concrete to a product placement site. Results The study applied the same numbers and elements to two alternatives and found that the box-type ready-mixed concrete vehicle proposed in the study reduced logistics costs in the course of logistics management. Conclusion The plan is based on the shipment of heterogeneous products through installments of shipment, which will contribute to logistics management that met customer needs and reduced logistics costs as well as raise the expectation for the development of industries derived from secondary batteries.
