This study proposes a voice-command-based Web Trading System (WTS) designed for visually impaired investors to enable seamless stock trading without relying on visual information. The system incorporates key functionalities such as real-time stock price retrieval, voice-activated trading (buy/ sell), portfolio management, conditional order setting, and chart analysis. By utilizing Google Speech- to-Text and Text-to-Speech APIs, the system efficiently processes user commands and provides immediate auditory feedback. The architecture is comprised of four primary modules: Voice Input, Command Processing, Trade Execution, and Voice Output, ensuring robust and accurate operations. A usability evaluation was conducted to compare the proposed WTS (V-HTS) with traditional Home Trading Systems (HTS). The results show that the task completion time for HTS is 12.3 seconds (±2.1 seconds), while V-HTS achieves a faster time of 9.1 seconds (±1.8 seconds). In terms of error rate, HTS recorded an average error rate of 5.0% (±2.1%), whereas V-HTS demonstrated a lower error rate of 3.2% (±1.8%). Furthermore, V-HTS outperformed HTS in user satisfaction metrics, highlighting its potential as an accessible trading platform for visually impaired users. These findings highlight the significance of inclusive design in enhancing financial accessibility and independence.
