This study focuses on the research and analysis of continuous-type heat pump sludge drying equipment. A continuous-type heat pump device model was established and simulated using Simulink developed by MathWorks. Through experimental testing, the model was iteratively refined to improve the accuracy of simulation analysis. In the future, this serves as a basis for parameter setting during the operation of heat pump systems, as well as a reference for equipment and component selection during system design, aiming to reduce the time and cost of development and testing. The equipment in this study includes a compressor, condenser, auxiliary condenser, electronic expansion valve, evaporator, and fan. By using this drying equipment to reduce the moisture content of sludge, weight is reduced, thereby saving the cost of sludge transportation. In the experiments, adjustments to parameters such as shelf speed and sludge spreader were made to achieve higher moisture content and Specific Moisture Extraction Rate (SMER). This situation served as the basis for model establishment and simulation. Finally, the experimental and simulated results were compared, yielding a deviation of 5.71%.
