Purpose: Uzbekistan is the one of the faster-growing nations among developing countries. It is blessed with natural resources. Since 2000, Korean government have been emphasized closer partnerships in the fields of energy and natural resources, with offering development technology and Uzbekistan providing stable energy resources. In spite of economic cooperation, it is very difficult to find cooperation with Korea about distribution sector. The purpose of this study is to analyze the distribution industry and development strategy in Uzbekistan. Especially, we tried to provide significant implication for Korea companies. Research design, data, and methodology: This study makes use of a lot of data about Uzbekistan distribution industry. For this, the articles, newspapers, journals and reports were used. Especially, we tried to find detailed information about Uzbekistan distribution system. So, we focus on department store, bazaar and shopping mall, mini market. Results: The results of this study are as follows. First, Uzbekistan has a few distribution system, so it has an potential to develop various area. Second, I found that Korean companies should look at the Uzbekistan distribution channel before enter the Uzbekistan market in the near future. Third, Uzbekistan has a desert climate with hot, dry summers and cold, somewhat humid. And also, it has a over 30 million people and various race. So, companies which want enter the uzbekistan must recognize its various culture. Conclusions: We generally look around Uzbekistan distribution system such as department store, shopping mall and bazaar. And, we also study about Uzbekistan distribution channel system. So, this study provide some implications to Korean companies and Uzbekistan. This study has a contribution that found a opportunity to enter the Uzbekistan distribution industry. The results of this research provide a useful implications to Korea and Uzbekistan companies. This study has a limitation that do not observe online shopping in Uzbekistan.
