As culture evolves, architecture and fashion have become increasingly interconnected, sharing and influencing each other through various formative ideas. Advances in software and material technologies have enabled architects to incorporate sophisticated fashion techniques—such as draping, weaving, pleating, layering, and folding—into their designs. These techniques have transformed traditional architectural forms, allowing for more dynamic and expressive structures. This study examines contemporary buildings, both domestic and international, that integrate fashion-inspired techniques into their exteriors. By analyzing these examples, the research explores how these techniques enhance aesthetic and functional aspects while also reflecting cultural, regional, and brand identities. The findings provide insights into the growing trend of blending fashion and architecture, offering a foundation for future projects that seek to incorporate these innovative design approaches. This study aims to serve as a valuable resource for architects looking to integrate fashion’s formative techniques into their work.
